VISION STATEMENT

(What the perfect UNTO ME would look like in 2022)

In the year 2022, the brand of UNTO ME is a 'household name' in Hawaii and recognized for its uniquely effective approaches to relating to the homeless, the hungry, the incarcerated, and others, as it ministers from a Christian foundation to practically and lovingly reintegrate each person back into society. 

UNTO ME is praised for its unquestionable business practices, consistently showing a small overhead with proven financial and administrative systems, and a few reliable but extremely capable staff. 

Medical doctors and other professionals generously donate their time, resources,  and expertise to help mend existing holes in the social services safety net which makes reintegration all the more fluid and seamless.  It lends to a change in many attitudes: seeing the homeless person as a neighbor, discovering entrepreneurial projects and programs don’t have to cost much, and realizing how wealthy we all really are.  As a result, the unemployment rate is lowered because many receive the hope and help they need to be gainfully employed.

Across all four major islands, everyday people’s hearts are quickened in agreement with UNTO ME and eagerly participate in various ways.  They see UNTO ME as a game changer that bridges the homeless, the hungry, and the incarcerated with government and service organizations by providing training and information, as well as state-of-the-art programs and initiatives.  At the same time, it sponsors benefit concerts and activities at the Palace Theater and other venues to help support other non-profits through grants and services.

Maile and Greg continue to dedicate their lives to ensure the integrity and success of UNTO ME by networking, overseeing operations, and planning on an on-going basis.  They are regularly asked to speak to service clubs, churches, and individual businesses, while many refer UNTO ME to others.  Big businesses invite them to speak to their employees.  They are in constant contact with the media to ensure their services are available to all in need.

Undergirding it all is the unwavering faith of Maile and Greg as they intercede, pray constantly, and cover the organization and all its activities, while speaking into people’s lives through prophetic words and encouraging everyone with the hope of tomorrow in Jesus.
