MANY IGNORANT PEOPLE THINK THAT HOMELESS PEOPLE ARE ‘ALL THE SAME’: FREELOADERS, TAKERS, DIRTY, WORTHLESS….

We All ‘Make Up’ our Community. How we all speak and act towards each other defines us.

We are speaking to the few selfish, mean-spirited, judgmental neighbors – you know who you are… From the ‘top’ of our community: elected officials, our law enforcement, county and state workers, civic organizations, church leaders, shop owners; to the bottom: our houseless, Grace-deficient neighbors.

Hint: a bit of kindness goes a long way.

REMEMBER – PEOPLE CAN BECOME WHATEVER WE SPEAK INTO THEIR LIVES. PLEASE SPEAK ‘LIFE’. Homeless people are often starved for a simple, loving conversation with another human being.

Key Truth:

Speaking ‘life’ to the less fortunate is a great form of grace we all have the ABILITY to give.
